APPG joint visit to The Deep

The APPG for the Ocean was delighted to visit The Deep in Hull on Friday as part of a joint visit with the APPG for Zoos and Aquariums. 🪸

The visit offered a fascinating insight into The Deep’s award-winning work as an aquarium, and conservation and education charity. We were pleased to learn more about its vital work to protect and restore marine and freshwater environments. This includes projects to restore the Humber Estuary and the Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Project, which focuses on the recovery of Britain’s rare crystal moss animal.

We would like to thank The Deep for hosting such an informative visit and for the insightful discussion on their conservation and education work, as well as letting us see their fantastic aquarium!
